BASIC GREY Extra, Extra!

Here are two more layouts using our extra papers from the POTM program. We'll be setting dates next week. The first one, "you TWO", is with Marrakech and you will need 1 - 5" x 7" and 3 - 4" square pictures.

The second one, "Heart Strings", is with "Porcelain". The pics for this one are - 1 - 4" x 6" and 2 - 3 1/2" x 5"

There are only 6 kits available for each one, so if you're interested, don't procrastinate - they'll go quick!

POTM - May

This is my layout for May. If you want to join us to put your page together, the dates are: Thursday, May 21 at 6pm and Tuesday, May 26 at 6pm. If you can make it earlier either day, that will just give you a bit more time.

BASIC GREY PAGE OF THE MONTH

May's theme is "When I Was a Kid"

The pictures you will need are:
four 4"w x 3"t
one 2 1/2"w x 3 1/2" t
one 8"w x 5 1/2"t (I'm using a 5" x 7"!!)

And black and white is suggested again. The colors of the layout are brights - blues, yellow, red, orange and lots of circles!

June's theme is " A Life Changing Moment"

You will need:
one 6"w x 7 3/4"t (I haven't decided what I'm using yet)
three 3" x 3"
You can use colored picturs for this one. The layout colors are very soft - purples and greens, with dragonflies and pretty, "secret" FLOWERS

CARD CLUB

Here are 2 of the cards and the matching gift bag for Father's Day. This is not the same bag as the Mother's Day gift bag. It's a bit smaller, as you can tell with it next to the cards. A third card is in the design stage :)

Time to update everyone again! We had such a busy March. The crop at Classics V was great. We had a full house and everyone had a great time.

The "Queen of the Crop" was Wendy Yates

Barb Van Alstine was crowned "Princess of the Pages"

And Kath Ordiway was the winner of the Cricut rolling backpack. The proceeds of $66 will be donated to Mary's Wig Room. Thanks everyone!


These were the pages entered for Princess of the Pages. Everyone who entered received a little prize.

CARD CLUB

Basic Grey February picture sizes

I thought I had posted these, but evidently not - oops!

Here's what you need for your February layout:

1 - 6" x 10 1/2" T (or 3 - 6" x 3 1/2"T); 2 - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" T;

1 - 2 1/2" x 2 7/8" T and 1 - 2 1/2" x 3"T.

Remember, the theme is what people wouldn't know about you.

Basic Grey picture sizes

You can get a look at the March and April layouts in the post below with the pictures. Just click on it and it will enlarge.

The sizes for the pictures are always width x height

For March, you will need these pictures: 3 - 6" x 4" , 1 - 4" x 4" and 2 circles - 4 1/2" diameter

For April you will only need two pics: 7" x 5" and 3" x 5"

Just thought I'd show you the nice display for the Basic Grey POTM supplies (along with my first month's page finally finished!)

And for those of you who haven't been in the store in the last few weeks, this is the wonderful vinyl "wall art" Jeannette Scheiser gave to Jan and Cheryl for Christmas.

I've gotten a start on February's POTM kit - the right side is done. I love the colors! The theme for March will be "A Day in My Life" and April will be "All My Quirks". I'll post the layouts and the picture sizes shortly.

Sick, sick, sick!!!

I guess we should have a "rule" that we can't all get sick at the same time!!! Bev, Nancy and Jan (who's been sick too) have been holding down the fort the last few weeks.

So, here's the latest goings on at Cj's.

Tomorrow night, the 9th, we will be doing the Super
Bowl Snack layout again. As always, please call to let us know if you're coming.

Wed morning and Thur. evening we will be having our Card Club.
We'll be making Thank You cards that will be stamped.

On Saturday, Heather will be doing a Paper Bag Album for kids, ages 4 and up. And it's FREE!

Tuesday the 17th and Thursday the 26t6h we will be doing the Weather Outside is Frightful layout with the cute snowmen.

There will be a Valentine layout on Thursday the 19th and Sunday the 22nd.

Kim's Pizza layout will be on Monday the 23rd.

And - the most fun project we've done - the Basic Grey POTM Party will be on Tuesday the 24th and Saturday the 28. This has been soooo much fun!! I'm enjoying it even more than I thought I would :) I'll post the pics and the photo sizes for March and April probably tonight, along with some of the other projects.

Ok, time to go home now - I'll put March's demos on either later or tomorrow!! I'll loving the sunshine today.
